I am a Los Angeles-based animal rescuer and pet photographer. I have always had an affinity toward animals and grew up in New Jersey with an array of pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, goats, and chickens. I often photographed my animals, but it wasn't until December 2014, when I adopted a kitten that I named Imogen and subsequently began volunteering at the West Los Angeles Animal Shelter, that I fell in love with pet photography and began pursuing it professionally. I started photographing cats and dogs at animal shelters and rescue groups throughout Los Angeles in 2015 and started getting hired to photograph pets shortly after.
In 2019, I left the TV industry and began working in animal rescue full time. I focus on saving neonatal kittens with medical issues and I have a soft spot for black kittens and blind cats.
While I love photographing pets, my passion is photographing animals to help them find a home. I strongly believe that photography is a critical part of the adoption process. The best feeling in the world is when someone tells me they adopted a certain animal because they saw the photos I had taken of them. Being able to help give animals the lives they deserve means everything to me.
